Wonderful. I wish I could give Hugh and the team more stars. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, generous with their time, and caring of distressed humans and animals both. They are also really reasonable in terms of affordability. I feel very lucky to have found such a great vet for our clumsy dog.

Our dog max we took there with the best care on the coast. Had a pin in his leg in 2 places. They were lovely. Tge vet is really good. Very smart man and good at what he does. 100% i take both our dogs there. And my dog before. Very affordable prices. Shop around. U will not get a smarter man.

My cat was hit by a car and the first 2 vets i went to offered euthanasia followed by amputation :, (

Dr Hugh fix my kitty almost as good as new (kitty tried to jump and messed up all of the Drs hard work that then had to be redone) but the Dr was very empathetic to the fact i was a single mum on a tight budget so did everything in his power not to break the bank while going above and beyond for our very much loved fury family member.

Experienced, economical, peace-of-mind.My cat was run-over and Hugh operated, repaired his broken legs and he has been home and healthy for years. Recently my other cat was diagnosed with diabetes - Hugh offers services other vets do not. They come out to the car for glucose checks to keep the pet calm and the price is under $10! I was paying $80 plus at other vets for this. Hugh's experience is unquestionable. I have read the neg comments and i feel for those people - i guess accidents can happen - but i would say on the whole you are better off seeing Hugh than risking incompetence & major expense elsewhere. This is a vet that puts health before profits - they dont push nasty "healthy" cat biscuits onto their clients

We run a rescue and this vet are very good supporters of our work. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to save so many lives. Thank you very much for all of your help. We have been seeing them for over 10 years and never had an issue. Dr Hugh Bain is a very good surgeon and vet, he has helped so many of the sick animals we have rescued. We've had other vets not be able to do life saving surgeries but Dr Hugh was able to thus he saved their life. Dr Hugh really does care about animals and wants to help them this is why he tries to be as affordable as possible. His key hole surgery is amazing! I wish he was local, we travel from Newcastle to see him because he is that good

This man truly is a remarkable man who truly goes above and beyond for the love of animals (even if he hasn't got the best bed side manners, i wouldn't trust anyone else with our little family members)
